Following last night’s “Sacrifice” pay-per-view, it appears that may have been the last we will see of Jake Something in Impact Wrestling.
Fightful announced early this morning that his contract with the company had expired on February 28th, with Jake seemingly working through that contract for this performance.
Jake (Jacob Doyle) signed with Impact Wrestling in 2019, and has made quite a name for himself in a short time. His match at “Sacrifice” was ironically for the X-Division Championship, in which he lost to current & still champion, Trey Miguel. Jake apparently left on good terms with the company, and would “likely be welcomed back,” so there is still hope for Impact fans that he may return at some point.
Jake is a phenomenal performer, and I can assure you he won’t be looking for his next wrestling home very long.
He is currently scheduled to be at the next Glory Pro Wrestling event “Good Times/Bad Times in St. Louis, MO on March 20th.
Below is a match between Jake and Speedball Mike Bailey from January, showcasing his talents.
