Independent Wrestler Spotlight: Tiffany Nieves

by Kyle Faulkerson

Us wrestling fans are VERY hard to please, and while focusing on the current “stars,” we are always eagerly looking forward to the next best talent as well.

By the time I publish this, it may be too late, but look no further than New York City’s very own Tiffany Nieves.

With just one year of in-ring experience, Tiffany has already strapped herself to her own rocket on her way to stardom. The Shawn Spears/Tyler Breeze/Al Snow/Doug Basham trained Nieves came out guns blazing, defeating now-friend Leila Grey at Coastal Championship Wrestling’s “Bash at the Brew 7,” where she did much of her early training and even worked as part of their broadcast team.

The Flatbacks Wrestling School alum has squared off in over 30 matches since, including 21 this year. She’s most recently been building her legacy in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) & Impact Wrestling, and has put put backs to the mat in 9 different companies, including AEW’s “Dark” program, facing off with stars Anna Jay, Megan Bayne, and Jamie Hayter.

Fearing absolutely no one, below is Tiffany’s Intergender match against Diego Renay at Mission Pro Wrestling’s “No Debes Jugar,” in which she put her ring instincts on full display, showing that she doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty to get the victory.

La Princesa is a cancer survivor, who puts her warrior spirit on display inside and outside the ring. Tiffany is one of the most decorated performers in the game today, and her arrow is pointed directly at the sun. Catch her whenever you can. Sooner or later, you won’t have a choice.
